Echo Base News Reviews - CW31 Shaak Ti

Gotta defend Kamino? Need another female Jedi? Will Shaak Ti do the job?

TCW31: Shaak Ti
Accessories: robe, lightsaber
Articulation: ball-joint head, shoulders, elbows, knees, ankles; swivel waist, wrist, hips

Remember when we all used to complain about how bad (all two) the two female action figures were? Ahsoka and Asajj? No elbows? Super skinny? Well, females are still super skinny, but now they have super articulation! S3 Ahsoka, Aurra Sing, Shaak Ti are all shining examples of how Hasbro can make wonderful figures with amazing sculpting and full articulation. The only problem with all of the articulation and the sculpting is that they gave her a Force-trick hand and two of her hands are sticking out.

Her soft-goods are wonderful and really bad at the same time. Her skirt is made of a wonderfully textured and heavy material that hangs wonderfully whether she is sitting or standing. But, her outer Jedi robe is super huge and poofy and it's hard to control. If they could have made a female version of the Jedi robes, that would be fantastic. But they gave her a definitely male sized cloak and it does not look very good on her at all, unfortunately.

Her paint job is fantastic. She's shiny on her lekku, her face has a nice mix of matte and shiny and her body has wonderful dashes of paint everywhere that you could want. Bottom line? She is a great figure, and if you don't like Shaak Ti, she's a good basis for future Ahsoka.
